Today Deni, Sue and I attended Activboard Training at St Marys from 3.45 to 4.45pm.

Richard went over how to makes containers, the use of the clock, how to copy and transfer pictures from the internet to activinspire, how to use mathematical shapes, and how to download activities from Promethean Planet.

I asked Richard about my overhead projector shutting down. He seems to think that my bulb needs replacing. I need to jot down what actually happens, which lights are blinking, so Richard can identify the cause. He suggested if the orange light is blinking when it shuts off, then it is most likely the bulb. If this is the case, contact Karl.

I also asked him about how to get our activvotes up and running. He said we do need a hub key. Will need to ask Nancy if we can purchase one. Richard is happy to come in for approx half hour to an hour to set them up for us. He will email and let me know dates.

I hope to try the transferring of pictures and also taking pictures of children to place on the activboard. I will have a go at this tomorrow at school with the children.
