Sue S and I attended more activboard training today at St Mary's School.

There was so much crammed into the day, some way above my head, but I did find out how to 'steal text' from other programmes than activinspire and place it directly on to a flipchart.

I also learnt how to use the webcam tool to take pictures online or in my documents and place on a flipchart. The ufo tool is excellent and I will show the children on Monday how to take pictures using this tool and cutting outlines of pictures to transfer to activinspire. The children will be able to use these tools to write stories and have pictures to enhance their written work.

I also learnt how to use the video screen tool which will be fantastic to use in so many different ways. I can record strategies and processes in maths, where it shows the pen writing the step by step process, so the children can play it should they need help with particular maths lessons. It will also be a great tool to use during the production in term 3, where the children can create their own stories and characters and makes the characters move and record their voices for each character.

I will give the class a lesson on the above on Monday morning.

The new browser tool is amazing and has so many activities and actions within it. So many things to use, but so little time to play with it. I will let the children fiddle with it and see what they come up with.

A worthwhile course to attend. I learnt so much and now need to teach the children how to use the tools.
