Today Paula worked one on one with staff for 45 minute blocks on blogging - Sue Caldwell, Jenny Burnett, Lynda Williamson and Sue Edwards.
In the afternoon Paula worked with me and gave me some tips on how to use the iPad. I forgot to say, YES, Nancy bought an iPad for the school last week and I get to play with it. It's very exciting. I love how simple it is to use. That everything is at your fingertips and comes to the fore by touching the pad. I wish I had more time to play with it and familiarise myself with it, however there seems to be so many other things I have to do.
After school Paula had a blogging session with any staff who wanted extra help. Lynda W, Jenny, Iain, Nancy, Shari, Sue C and I attended. Paula also showed us the Photopeach programme, which is a fabulous way to present photos. She also showed Iain and I how to create exciting template backgrounds for our blog at http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com.
I spent all night dollying up my own blog with Photopeach and a cool looking background from the cutest blog website, and and am very happy with the results. I feel like I'm really learning and achieving in e-Learning this year with Paula's help. She's giving us very good PD with programmes we can use in our classrooms which are simple to use and which have great results.
